Manager & Salon Director
‘At Aitch & Aitch, I have time to be me and the freedom to create beautiful hair.’
I am a happy, positive person and full of energy so talking to my guests and finding out what they want is a genuine pleasure for me. I love to see a smile on their faces when they leave the salon.
With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, attending numerous courses at Vidal Sassoon, Beverly Corbella and Toni & Guy, I’ve always kept a close eye on current trends. But I’m an individualist. I don’t want to follow the crowd.
I specialise in everything from edgy haircuts to classic bobs and Great Lengths Hair Extensions.
Managing and working alongside the creative team is inspiring and fulfilling and I am a firm believer in the importance of motivation through ongoing education.
James
Manager & Creative Director
‘I love getting to know my guests. Getting a feel for their personality and lifestyle helps me create a style best suited to them.’
After training at Leonard of Mayfair, I moved to John Frieda as a top stylist working with many celebrity guests and high-end clientele.
I’ve collaborated on photo shoots with high profile magazines and on TV commercials including YSL and Chanel.
My decision to move south of the river means I now spend my week working full time in the salon doing what I enjoy most – creating great, easy-to-maintain hair.
Shella
Salon Director
‘I am passionate about our industry and love working with the professional and creative team at Aitch & Aitch.’
In a career spanning more than 20 years, I’ve enjoyed all aspects of cutting and styling hair – particularly styling for special occasions such as weddings.
I have a good eye for detail and love creating new and exciting looks for my guests.
Taking part in numerous photoshoots for fashion awards has been great fun.
Kelly
Principal Stylist
‘I love personalising my haircuts. It really can be the smallest detail that makes a massive difference to your work.’
I started as a Saturday girl in 1995, went on to an apprenticeship and college and I’ve never looked back. I always knew it was something I wanted to do and loved it.
Hairdressing has evolved so much over the years but it always comes back to basics.
Putting a smile on my guests’ faces brings me the most joy. And whether they’d prefer to read or have a chat, I let them take the lead. Whatever makes them feel relaxed and comfortable.
Stacey
Colour Specialist
‘Colour is my passion!’
I joined Aitch & Aitch in 2019, becoming a colour specialist a year later.
I am meticulous about creating a look for my guests that will work with their lifestyles, while also taking into account new trends and seasonal tones.
Teaching is another passion for me. I love to educate members of my team who are so enthusiastic to learn. Seeing them achieve gives me my own sense of achievement.
I’d describe my personality as fun and vibrant!
Phillipa
Master Colourist
‘I love to build a guest’s confidence – even with the most subtle changes to their colour.‘
A passionate colourist who aspires to Daniel Galvin, Phillipa is committed to keeping up to date with all the current trends.
She loves discussing inspiring ideas with her clients, from classic to cutting edge, but one of her favourite techniques is Balayage – where colour is painted directly onto sections of the hair – because she feels it creates a soft, natural look.
“Colour – anything from highlights to a striking bold colour – makes all the difference to someone’s appearance”, she says.
Ellie
Master Colourist
‘Whether it’s a subtle colour or a seamless balayage – creating a colour that best suits a guest is what motivates me.’
I began my hairdressing journey working for the Aitch & Aitch team on Saturdays, eventually moving to Mayfair where I started my career as a colourist.
I’ve worked for industry luminaries such as Jo Hansford, Daniel Galvin and George Northwood, all of whom inspired me to specialise in different colour techniques.
Building a relationship with my guests is very important to me and I enjoy sharing my positive energy with them.
Nicole
Top Stylist
‘I have a passion for all things hair and pride myself on creating manageable yet fabulous styles!’
I have always loved hairdressing. I joined Aitch & Aitch early on in my career and value everything it takes to become a great stylist.
It’s so important for me to connect and build relationships with my guests and to see them leave the salon feeling happy and confident.
I specialise in all aspects of cutting, hair up, long-lasting curls and blow-dries.
Lindsay
Top Stylist
‘I have been obsessed with hair for as long as I can remember. I believe good hair starts with a good consultation!’
Hair is fascinating. How it reflects a personality and how I can alter it in so many ways to increase your confidence and make you feel like a different person.
I love all aspects of hairdressing – from shorter, sharper looks to bob variations.
I specialise in soft and flowing looks – especially styling a fresh balayage with beautiful soft beach waves and voluminous blowdries.
Poppy

‘I fell in love with hairdressing at 15 when I was a Saturday assistant at Aitch & Aitch. Working with the salon’s stylists and technicians was an inspiration.’
I’m a ‘home-grown’ stylist, having completed my apprenticeship with Aitch & Aitch in 2020.
I’m passionate about what I do and love to make my guests feel confident and good about themselves.

Front Of House
‘Talking to our guests and making them feel welcome and comfortable is what I love doing best.’
Working in the customer service industry for more than 30 years (including a prestigious London bank), I know the importance of building a friendly relationship to make a guest’s visit special and personal.
I’ve been front of house at Aitch & Aitch for 10 years and I regard everyone who walks through the salon door as part of a large extended family.
